Coffee cherry or parchment is loaded through the hatch on the roof. Inside the round chamber a slow shuffling shaft keeps the load turning in hot air pushed in by the blower from the multi-fuel furnace. The digital panel sets temperature and time; dried coffee leaves through the small door on the side of the chamber.
How it dries
1Furnace. The green cabinet holds the furnace and heat exchanger. It runs on biomass, firewood, LPG, diesel or electricity.
2Blower. The centrifugal blower takes the hot air from the heater and pushes it into the base of the chamber.
3Even drying. The hot air is spread evenly through the whole chamber, and the shaft keeps the load moving so nothing sticks and every bean dries alike.
4Back to the heater. The overhead duct carries the air from the roof of the chamber back to the hood on the cabinet, so it circulates.
5Control. Temperature and drying time are set on the digital panel. The shaft's rotation timing is adjustable.

Aayush's published specification
Model Aayush Star RV 22:16, batch type. Input capacity 300 kg to 5,000 kg. Drying time about 8 hours for parchment and about 14 hours for cherry. Fuel: biomass, diesel, LPG or electricity. Automatic temperature control with an agitator mechanism.

How far to trust this model
Built from six of Aayush's own photographs of the machine. No dimension is measured. The chamber is taken as 2.5 m across; everything else is proportional.
O Observed in the photographs: chamber band, porthole, green door with the Aayush plate and lamp box, roof hatch, outlet door on the band, roof drive, legs, blower and pedestal, furnace cabinet and door, hood and overhead duct, red valve and burner fan, control panel.
E Estimated: every size, the flue, the stand under the panel, the inlet pipe.
U Unobserved: everything inside the chamber and inside the cabinet. The shuffling shaft is named in Aayush's specification; its shape here is illustrative. How the hot air is spread inside the chamber is Aayush's own design and is deliberately not shown. The direction of circulation is inferred from where the blower connects.
